Event Details
Meet the beautiful, fascinating and underappreciated cousins of the butterflies. Chances are that hundreds of species of moths live just outside your door. These important pollinators show an amazing variety of color, shape, and behavior, but since most (by no means all) are active at night, we often simply overlook them. Not presenter John Himmelman, though, who has long been attracted to the moths as they are to lights!
John Himmelman is an author, illustrator, and naturalist. He has written and illustrated many books for children and adults on various natural history subjects.
Registration required. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. This program will not be recorded.
