Wanda Phipps is a writer, translator, and performer. Author of Wake-Up Calls: 66 Morning Poems (Soft Skull Press) and three other collections. Her poems have been widely published, anthologized, and translated. She has been funded by NYFA, Meet the Composer, the National Theater Translation Fund, and NYSCA. Wanda curated readings at The Poetry Project at St. Mark’s Church, and has written about the arts for Time Out NY, NYC Metro, and Paper Magazine. Open mic to follow poet. No registration required.
