Join the Town of Poughkeepsie Historic Preservation Commission, and the Poughkeepsie Public Library District, in screening the musical film, 1776 (1972, PG). The film is "a musical retelling of the American Revolution's political struggle in the Continental Congress to declare independence." This program is one of many programs to come that commemorate the 250th anniversary of the events that led to the American Revolution. Registration required.
