The Erie Canal is celebrating its bicentennial! This program outlines the story of the canal and how it has been heralded in pop culture, folklore, and the history books. Discover how it was recognized at 100 years, and what celebrations the corridor has planned for its 200th! 

Presenter David Brooks is the Historic Site Assistant and Director of Education at Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site in Fort Hunter, Montgomery County, New York. Schoharie Crossing interprets and preserves the significant history of the Erie Canal and its contributions to the state as well as the nation. Registration required.
