You may have noticed data breaches are happening regularly and fraudsters are contacting us directly trying to get our personal information. Join the NY Department of State, Division of Consumer Protection’s community educator to learn how to protect your personal information from fraudsters looking to use it for personal gain. We will define what identity theft is, the signs of fraud and identity theft, and what you can do to protect your information.
