Event Details

April is Citizen Science Month and the LaGrange, Poughkeepsie, Clinton, and Beekman libraries are holding a collaborative science fair for families at the Boardman Road Library!  Youth ages 10-18 can work on a fun STEM (science, technology, engineering or math) project or presentation, and bring it to the event to share with their community.  Possible presentation ideas include: conducting an experiment, presenting a specific topic, holding a survey, etc.  Ask your library for more ideas!

Participants may collaborate in groups of up to 5 people. To present a project, please email your name(s), age, project title, description, and research questions(s) to jtorres@poklib.org anytime between now and April 18th. Even if you don’t participate, be sure to stop by on the day to see all the exciting STEM fun!
