Everyone has a story!  We all have interesting stories about life, love, and everything in between. Get it down on paper and experience your stories transformed into a monologue to perform. Each session begins with a freewriting exercise followed by instructions for building the elements of a monologue inspired by real-life or loosely based on real people and events. Learn how to choose a voice, develop main and secondary characters, and outline a plot. There will be an opportunity in each session to share your monologue in progress and receive acting techniques from the instructor. The last class will conclude with class attendees sharing their monologues as a performance piece should they choose to do so. A fun, supportive environment if you have ever wanted to write, act, or do both! Benefits of Workshop:  Build confidence in expression, master speaking anxiety, develop stage presence, utilize your voice effectively, learn to speak with presence, improve your imaginative and presentation skills. Please bring your own pen and paper. You are registering for all three sessions (July 15, 22, & 29) and committing to all three sessions. Registration required.
